Part of Pennsylvania Turnpike Blocked Near Bensalem After Multi-Truck Crash

BUCKS COUNTY, PA – Authorities were dispatched to at least two crashes involving tractor-trailers Tuesday morning near Bensalem, according to CBS News Pittsburgh.

The initial scene was reported on an area of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 351 to the Bensalem interchange.

Little information has been made available at this time, but crews had a section of the westbound turnpike closed from Interstate 95 southbound to Exit 351.

Motorists were eventually asked to detour off the highway and through a parking lot. Those with plans to travel through the area were advised to take I-95 south, exit at Woodhaven Road (Exit 35), exit again to U.S. Route 1 North or Roosevelt Boulevard. and then get back on the turnpike at the Bensalem interchange.

No information regarding potential injuries or charges has been released.
