HARMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to the scene of a vehicle crash in Allegheny County on Saturday morning, according to WPXI.

The accident took place along the 2000 block of Freeport Road near Alpha Drive E at about 10:25 a.m. Two people had to be extricated from a vehicle involved in the wreck, and were taken to an area hospital. Their condition was not disclosed.

Two vehicles were reportedly towed from the crash site. There was no immediate word on what led to the collision.

The northbound lanes of Freeport Road at Alpha Drive E were shut down during the accident response.
