WEST MAYFIELD, PA – Authorities in Beaver County said a small school bus was struck by a car on 37th Street Extension on Monday afternoon, according to Beaver County Radio.
The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. near Rock Avenue in West Mayfield. An investigation indicated that the driver of the car allegedly crossed over the center line in that area and collided head-on with the bus.
Minor injuries were reported for everyone involved in the incident, which included five students on the bus.
37th Street Extension was shut down from West 3rd Avenue to Rock Avenue for the accident response. Utility crews were also dispatched because of a pole that was struck during the crash.
