Motorcyclist, 57, Dies After Colliding With Pickup Truck In Perry Township

PERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – One person was killed and another injured in a collision Tuesday morning in Fayette County, reports WTAE.

The incident occurred along Route 51 in Perry Township at about 5:25 a.m. Authorities said a motorcycle rider was traveling north and crossed over into the southbound lanes of the roadway, colliding head-on with a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist, a 57-year-old man from Perryopolis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The wreck is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
