Accident On Bigelow Boulevard In Pittsburgh Leaves 1 Injured, Shuts Down Roadway

PITTSBURGH, PA – A man was injured when his car was involved in a crash in Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning, KDKA reported.

Authorities said the man was ejected from his vehicle in the accident, which occurred at about 8 a.m. in the area of Bigelow Boulevard and Herron Avenue.  He was listed in stable condition after being taken to an area hospital.

A portion of Bigelow Boulevard was shut down in both directions, while crews worked to clear the scene and repair guardrails that were damaged.

The road reopened to traffic about four hours later. An investigation is now underway into the cause of the wreck.
