Woman dead following two-vehicle wreck in Canonsburg

WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA – A 58-year-old woman died as a result of a collision Sunday afternoon near the Falconi fields in Canonsburg, according to TribLIVE.

The accident happened in the 1100 block of 1st Street, near Hooks Lane, prompting an emergency response shortly after 1:30 p.m.

Canonsburg police continue to investigate, but officials said the victim, who was the driver and sole occupant of one vehicle, was involved in a a crash with another vehicle.

First responders rushed the victim to Canonsburg Hospital where she was pronounced deceased less than an hour later.

No information regarding the second vehicle or its driver has been made available at this time.
