BEAVER COUNTY, PA – A 16-year-old passenger lost their life and two other people were injured late Friday as a result of a collision in North Sewickley, according to WTAE.
Officials said the teen was traveling in the front seat passenger seat of a vehicle that slammed into a tree off Ferry Road at about 10:30 p.m.
Details remain limited at this time, but the 16-year-old was pronounced deceased at the crash site by the Beaver County coroner.
Two other people, whose ages remain unclear, had to be airlifted to an area hospital. First responders have not released any information about the extent of the injuries sustained.
An investigation into the cause and nature of the wreck remains in progress.
