FAIRFIELD, PA – An accident involving a Greyhound bus was among several crashes occurring during icy road conditions in the Fairfield area Sunday night, reports WPXI.
The bus was headed from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh when it crashed along Pennsylvania 271. There were no immediate reports of injuries. Greyhound said a relief bus was dispatched to the area to transport the passengers to their destinations.
SR-271 was shut down between Rachelwood Drive and the Westmoreland County line while emergency crews responded to the scene.
