PITTSBURGH, PA – Emergency crews were dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on State Route 28 in northeast Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The collision unfolded on the southbound highway at Fox Chapel Road (Exit 8), near the VA Hospital HJ Heinz Campus. By about 2:00 p.m., at least one lane was shut down as a result.
As of this writing, no information indicating the circumstances of the event has been released, and it’s unclear exactly how many vehicles were impacted.
The conditions of the involved occupants are also unclear.
