Man Killed When Motorcycle Collides With Vehicle In Scott Township

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, PA – Police said a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in a fatal collision in Scott Township on Friday night.

In a Facebook post, the Scott Township Police Department said officers responded to the 1400 block of Greentree Road at about 10:05 p.m. on a report of an accident with injuries. They found one male victim who was ultimately pronounced dead, despite the efforts of bystanders who had tried to assist with medical aid. Local news reports said the victim was a 27-year-old man.

The circumstances that led to the crash were not disclosed. The SHACOG Accident Reconstruction Team was called in to assist Scott police officers in the investigation.
