Man Killed In Car Crash In Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA – A single-vehicle accident in Pittsburgh on Friday night claimed the life of the driver, reports WTAE.

The crash took place in the city’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood sometime around 6 p.m. Police said officers were dispatched to the area of Rowan Street and Paulson Avenue, and found that a vehicle had gone over a hillside.

The driver, a 28-year-old man, was removed from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police department’s Collision Investigation Unit responded, prompting the closure of the area around Paulson Avenue and Rowan Street. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
