CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – A 28-year-old man was rushed to a hospital early Wednesday, November 13, following a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Cranberry Township, according to CBS News Pittsburgh.
Local police say the incident occurred at Franklin Road and Mars-Crider Road, shortly before 7:00 a.m.
The man appeared to have been walking southbound close to Franklin Road near the intersection when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. The driver then continued away without stopping.
The male pedestrian, who suffered “serious injuries,” was transported to Allegheny General Hospital.
At this time, investigators continue to search for the hit-and-run suspect and their vehicle. It’s unclear what kind of car was involved, but its front-passenger area is expected to have damage from the crash.
