HOMESTEAD, PA – A driver was injured when their vehicle crashed in Homestead late Sunday night, authorities said.
A Facebook post by the Munhall Volunteer Fire Company said its crews responded to the area of Amity Street and E. Waterfront Drive at about 10:30 p.m. for a vehicle accident with entrapment.
Photos from the scene showed that the vehicle had rolled over in the accident. Rescuers worked to stabilize the vehicle and remove the roof so the driver could be extricated.
The injured victim was taken to an area hospital by Munhall EMS. No details were immediately released on the person’s condition, or what may have led to the crash.
