PITTSBURGH, PA – At least part of northbound State Route 28 was shut down late Monday morning near northeast Pittsburgh following a crash, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes of PA-28 near Exit 8 to Fox Chapel Road (Waterworks Drive/Freeport Road). It was first reported shortly before 11:21 a.m.
Very few details have been made public at this time, but officials indicated that a lane restriction was in place following the incident.
