Authorities Investigate Double-Fatal Crash in West Bethlehem Township

WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA – Two people lost their lives as a result of a single-vehicle wreck with ejection this past weekend in Washington County, reports WTAE.

Emergency responders were called to the scene off Clarksville Road in West Bethlehem Township at around 9:30 a.m. after a vehicle was discovered crashed over a nearby embankment.

While the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation, officials believe the wreck occurred either Saturday night or Sunday morning.

A 36-year-old woman from Waynesburg who ejected from the vehicle was pronounced deceased following the response.

The second victim, a 46-year-old Marianna man, was later also found deceased in a residence near the crash site, but no further details have been provided.
