LANCASTER COUNTY, PA – A section of northbound State Route 283 was blocked Tuesday evening near Manheim after a crash, according to 511PA Statewide.

The accident happened between the exits to Salunga and Mount Joy and was first reported shortly before 6:33 p.m.

At this time, officials have not said what led up to the wreck or shared any information on the vehicles involved, but all westbound lanes were shut down.

Local agencies have also not confirmed any major injuries or hospitalizations in connection to the event.
