PITTSBURGH, PA – One person was hospitalized with critical injuries early Sunday, July 14, after colliding with a vehicle while operating a motorcycle in downtown Pittsburgh, reports Hoodline.

Local police, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at Grant Street and Boulevard of the Allies shortly after 8:45 a.m.

An investigation into the cause of the incident was underway, but officials said the male motorcyclist, who was found on the down ramp from Boulevard of the Allies, was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

It’s unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed, but the other driver remained at the scene following the crash.
