WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA – Authorities were dispatched to a crash Friday morning in Salem Township that resulted in the death of at least one person, reports WPXI.

The fatal incident unfolded in the 3000 block of Route 119, leading to a closure between Route 22 and Latrobe Crabtree Road.

At this time, specific details regarding the cause and nature of the wreck have not been made available, but the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) confirmed the fatality.

An investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police remains underway.
