PITTSBURGH, PA – Commuters faced long delays Tuesday afternoon in north Pittsburgh following a collision, according to WPXI.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes of McKnight Road that run from Babcock Boulevard and Peebles Road to McIntyre Road. It was first reported at about 5:00 p.m.

Local officials did not immediately indicate the cause of the wreck or whether anyone was seriously hurt, but shortly before 6:00 p.m., WPXI reported that the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It was not immediately apparent whether anyone involved was seriously injured or had to be taken to a hospital.
