WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA – Motorists faced delays after a multi-vehicle crash and a big rig break-down Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 70 near West Alexander, reports The Intelligencer.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes of I-70, near mile marker 2, causing traffic to come to a standstill.

Details remain limited, but multiple vehicles were impacted. Officials did not clarify whether the tractor-trailer that broke down following the incident was directly involved.

No injuries were immediately reported.
