BERK COUNTY, PA – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a wreck late Friday afternoon on U.S. Highway 222 near Reading, according to 511PA Statewide.
The crash took place on the northbound lanes that run between State Route 183/Bernville Road and State Route 61. It was first reported at about 5:11 p.m.
Authorities have not released a statement indicating the sequence of events, but the scene had all northbound lanes in the area shut down.
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt and/or had to be taken to a hospital.
