Fiery Crash on I-376 in Robinson Township Sends 1 to Hospital

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, PA – Authorities responded to a crash late Monday in Robinson Township that caused a car to catch fire, sending its driver to the hospital, reports CBS News Pittsburgh.

The accident happened on Interstate 376 near Ridge Road, prompting an emergency response shortly before 10:00 p.m.

It’s unclear what led up to the wreck, but one vehicle was seen sliding and bouncing before the fiery crash.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.

Crews had part of the westbound highway and the Ridge Road exit blocked immediately following the incident.

Officials did not say whether another vehicle or occupant was involved.
