WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA – One person suffered major injuries early Sunday as a result of a motorcycle collision in Rostraver Township, reports WPXI.
The wreck occurred in the 800 block of Rostraver Road, prompting a response from Rostraver Central Fire Department crews.
An investigation remains underway, but officials confirmed the operator of the motorcycle was transported to Rostraver Square, where they were then flown to an area hospital.
At this time, it’s unclear what led up to the crash and whether another vehicle was involved, but WPXI noted that parts of the bike were found detached at the scene.
The patient’s condition remains undisclosed.
