BUTLER COUNTY, PA – A vehicle crash last Saturday morning, July 13, near Zelienople sent at least one person to the hospital, according to CBS News Pittsburgh.
The accident took place on a span of southbound Interstate 79 between the ramps to US-19 North and US-19 South and the PA Route 528 interchange toward Evans City.
Officials did not immediately release details about the cause or nature of the wreck, but one person was confirmed to have been sent to a local hospital. The severity of their condition was not disclosed.
Multiple lanes were blocked in the aftermath of the incident but were reopened shortly after.
No charges or citations have been reported at this time.
