DUQUESNE, PA – Emergency crews were dispatched to a pedestrian collision in Duquesne on Tuesday morning, WPXI reported.

The incident took place in the 1000 block of Duquesne Boulevard near Kennywood Park. According to police, a person was in the roadway on a bridge at about 8:55 a.m. when they were struck by a northbound Audi sedan.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, and was listed in critical condition. The driver involved stayed at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by Allegheny County police.
