PENN BOROUGH, PA – A driver is being sought in connection with a collision in Penn Borough that sent a young boy to the hospital, reports TribLIVE.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the 8-year-old boy was riding a bicycle on Tuesday when he was struck by a white Subaru car. It was reported that the driver exited the car following the collision, removed the bicycle from under the vehicle, and then left the scene. The boy was treated at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for a concussion and a knee injury. The child’s grandmother said other children remained with him until help arrived.

State police said the driver they are now searching for is a white man between 30 and 40 years old. Footage of the car was captured by surveillance cameras on Emma Street. The driver could face charges related to leaving the scene of the collision.
