18-Year-Old Dies Following Dirt Bike Accident In South Huntingdon

SOUTH HUNTINGDON, PA – An accident involving a dirt bike claimed the life of a young man from Fayette County on Sunday afternoon, TribLIVE reported.

The incident happened along Creek Road in South Huntingdon, Westmoreland County shortly before 1:30 p.m. Authorities said the 18-year-old rider was headed west when he drove off the roadway, became separated from the dirt bike and landed in Jacobs Creek. where he was found dead. The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident

Pennsylvania State Police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the crash, which remains under investigation.
