Collision At Gas Station In Perryopolis Sends 4 People To Hospital

PERRYOPOLIS, PA – A crash at a gas station in Perryopolis on Saturday afternoon sent four people to the hospital, reports WTAE.

Authorities said the driver of a pickup truck had stopped off at the station on Route 51 shortly before 4:19 p.m. The driver parked and went inside the store to buy lottery tickets.

That is when the driver of a southbound SUV collided with the pickup truck, and also struck two gas pumps. The four injured victims included two children, but there was no immediate word on the extent of the injuries.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
