BELLEVUE, PA – Authorities said two people died and two others were injured following a crash in Bellevue early Sunday morning.
In a Facebook post, the Allegheny County Police Department said its Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the incident shortly before 1 a.m.
County 9-1-1 was notified that two vehicles had collided in the area of Ohio River Boulevard and Kendall Avenue. First responders found both drivers, two men, dead at the scene. Two other people were taken to area hospitals but were expected to survive. WPXI reported that the wreck sent one of the vehicles crashing into a nearby tire center.
Ohio River Boulevard was closed between the McKees Rock Bridge and Riverview Avenue for several hours for the accident investigation.
