ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – One person was hospitalized following a crash inside Squirrel Hill Tunnel in Allegheny County on Sunday afternoon, according to WTAE.
The incident occurred near the outbound side of the tunnel, where emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly after 2 p.m. There was no immediate word on the condition of the injured victim.
Crews worked to remove the vehicles involved in the wreck, forcing the temporary closure of the tunnel. It was reopened later in the afternoon. No details were available on what led to the accident.
