Multi-Vehicle Wreck in North Strabane Township Claims 1 Life

WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA – A 51-year-old man lost his life last Friday night in North Strabane Township as a result of a crash involving multiple vehicles, reports CBS News Pittsburgh.

The fatal collision involved three vehicles and occurred off Washington Road at Demar Boulevard, at about 11:00 p.m. on October 25.

Local police said the man was at the intersection waiting at a red light to turn left from Washington Road and onto Demar Boulevard when his vehicle. One other vehicle traveled into his lane at high speed and collided with the victim’s car, sending it crashing into a third car.

The Washington County Coroner’s office confirmed that the victim died from their injuries. Officials observed that he was wearing a seat belt when the crash unfolded.

An investigation by the North Strabane Township Police Department remains open and ongoing.
