1 Sent to Hospital After Motorcycle Wreck on I-279 in Ohio Township

OHIO TOWNSHIP, PA – One person suffered injuries due to a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in Ohio Township, according to WPXI.

The scene unfolded on southbound Interstate 279 at the 94-mile marker. Allegheny County dispatchers were alerted shortly before 6:10 p.m.

Few details have been made available, but Pennsylvania State Police said the motorcycle driver had to be transported to a nearby hospital.

The patient’s condition was not immediately disclosed, and it was unclear whether another driver and/or person was involved.
