Authorities Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash on PA 837 in Jefferson Hills

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – A 26-year-old woman succumbed to injuries suffered in a pedestrian crash Wednesday night in Jefferson Hills, reports TRIBLive.

The incident occurred on Route 837, in front of Shop N Go, at around 7:30 p.m.

While the sequence of events leading up to the crash remains unclear, the woman, a resident of West Elizabeth, was hit by a vehicle while on foot.

The victim was rushed to AHN Jefferson Hospital, where she later died.

Officials did not immediately say whether the driver is expected to be charged or cited.

An investigation remains ongoing.
