Crash On Parkwood Road In Arlington Neighborhood Damages Home, Gas Meter

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police and utility crews were dispatched to the scene of an accident in Pittsburgh’s Arlington neighborhood on Saturday.

According to WTAE, it happened at about noon along the 600 block of Parkwood Road. Video showed the driver of an SUV just missing another car while traveling on the icy road, and then crashing into the side of a home.

A gas meter was damaged in the crash, and Columbia Gas arrived to shut off gas to the property. No other customers lost service. No details were released on whether anyone was injured.

Pittsburgh police are trying to determine what caused the accident.
