NORTH VERSAILLES, PA – An investigation is underway following a hit-and-run incident in Allegheny County that left a man critically injured, CBS Pittsburgh reports.
The victim was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in North Versailles. First responders found the man at the intersection of Greensburg Pike and Hyer Avenue near the Versailles Castle Apartments after the incident happened at about 8:45 p.m. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver involved left the area after the collision in a vehicle believed to have been a dark-colored SUV. Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit are looking for further clues that might help them find the vehicle and driver.
