GREEN TREE, PA – First responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 376 near Green Tree last week.
According to a release from the Green Tree Volunteer Fire Department, the crash happened Jan. 29 along Interstate 376 westbound.
Rescue crews arrived shortly before 1:30 a.m. and learned that a sedan had crashed into the back end of a tractor-trailer that was stopped on the shoulder of I-376.
The driver and passenger of the sedan had to be extricated from their vehicle and were taken to the hospital. No details were released on their condition.
The circumstances that led to the collision were not clear.
