1 dead, 1 left injured after collision on Route 51 in Menallen Township

FAYETTE COUNTY, PA – A 65-year-old man died Tuesday night following a crash in Menallen Township that left another person injured, according to TRIBLive.

The Fayette County Coroner confirmed that the fatal incident occurred on a stretch of Route 51 at around 10:00 p.m.

Few details have been made available but the TRIBLive article indicates the decedent was one of at least two involved drivers.

Officials said they were working to notify the victim’s family of the death, which was pronounced at the scene.

The other driver was rushed by airlift to an area hospital. While no information about the patient’s condition has been disclosed, they are expected to survive.

An investigation remains in progress. No charges or citations have been announced at this time.
